The Dodge Viper GT was a variant of the Fifth Generation Dodge Viper (VX I) that debuted for the 2015 model year. The GT was introduced to sit between the SRT and GTS as the mid-range offering. These cars were fitted with driver-adjustable suspension and leather upholstery with alcantara inserts. The 8.4L V10 engine equipped on the GT developed 645hp which was sent to the rear wheels through a 6 speed manual transmission. In 2015, Dodge introduced the GTC program, which gave customers a high level of customization on their cars. Although this program was offered across the Viper range, base GTCs were the equivalent of the GT. The Dodge Viper GT was in production until 2017 when Dodge discontinued the Viper.
