The fifth generation of Ram was introduced for the 2019 model year. After 2010, Dodge separated the Ram into its own make, but the model was still offered as a series of light (1500), medium (2500), and heavy-duty (3500) as well as a 4500 variant. The fifth generation Ram has been available as a regular cab, extended cab, and crew cab, as well as being powered by a range of inline six, V6, or V8 and diesel engines. The most notable variant is the performance-focused Ram TRX.
