The Dodge Power Wagon Type G was produced across the C and D series line of trucks. These popular 4x4 trucks featured rugged suspension and the same V8s and inline-six engines that were found in the standard variant trucks. The Type G trucks differed from the Type D series in that they followed the same design ethos of the standard line of Dodge trucks. The Type D vehicles were a stand-alone body style.
