The Dodge Durango R/T was a performance-focused variant of the 3rd Gen Durango that debuted for the 2011 model year. The R/T name was reintroduced for the Durango after having been dormant since 2003. These sporty SUVs offered more luxuries and various dynamic enhancements over standard models, as well as a 5.7L Hemi V8 engine. This engine, which generated 360hp, was paired to an 8 speed automatic transmission. Both rear wheel or all wheel drive versions were offered.
