The Dodge Charger Super Bee was a variant of the 3rd Gen Charger that was only offered for the 1971 model year. Previously, Dodge used the Super Bee name for a separate model, but for 1971, the Super Bee name was used on an entry-level variant for the Charger. These cars were only built in a coupe body style, and featured various V8 engine options, ranging from 340ci to 440ci in displacement, including the 426ci Hemi. Both manual and automatic transmissions were available, with drive being sent to the rear wheels. The Charger Super Bee was only built in 1971, with a total of 5,024 examples produced.
