Introduced in 1972, the Citroën DS23 was the top variant offered for the Citroën DS. The DS23 featured a 2.3L inline four engine, and was available from the factory as a sedan or a range of station wagons, although convertible versions were built by coachbuilders. The DS23 was offered with a range of advanced features at the time including the famed Citroën hydropneumatic suspension and disc brakes. Notable versions of the DS23 included the Pallas, which was the top trim level offered for the DS. Production of the Citroën DS ended in 1975.
