For 1995 Chevrolet introduced the Tahoe, which replaced the previous Chevrolet Blazer. In addition to the 2 door SUV, they also introduced the longer 4 door version. The chassis was derived from the Chevrolet Silverado and engine options included the 350ci gasoline V8 or the 395ci turbo-diesel V8. The first generation Tahoe continued until 2000, when the 2nd Gen Tahoe debuted.
