The third generation of Chevrolet Silverado was introduced for the 2014 model year. This latest generation of Silverado was offered in regular, extended, and crew cab body styles, and was available as a rear wheel drive or all wheel drive model. A wide range of V8 engines were fitted to the third generation Silverado, as well as the notable EcoTec3 V6. Production of the third generation continued until 2019, although the Silverado 1500 variants were discontinued in 2018, with the introduction of the Fourth Generation Chevrolet Silverado.
