The third generation of Chevrolet Blazer was introduced for the 1992 model year. This last generation of K5 Blazer saw the model renamed 'Blazer' and was built on the GMT415 platform, and was offered in a two door SUV body style. Both rear wheel drive and all wheel drive was available, as was a gasoline or diesel V8 engine. Production of the third generation Blazer ended in 1994, when it was replaced by the Chevrolet Tahoe.
