The Chevrolet Corvette Z06 - Base Model was the standard offering for the C7 Corvette Z06. Introduced for the 2015 model year, the C7 Z06 was available in Semi-Convertible (often referred to as Coupe) and Convertible body styles, and were powered by Chevrolet's 6.2L LT1 V8 engine. This supercharged engine had an output of 650hp that was sent to the rear wheels through a 6 speed manual or 8 speed automatic transmission. Production of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 lasted until 2019.
