Chevrolet introduced the fifth generation Camaro for the 2010 model year, after pausing production after the 2002 model year. This new generation of Camaro saw the model undergo a redesign that incorporated design cues from the original First Generation Camaro. This 5th Gen Camaro coupe featured rear wheel drive and a convertible also debuted in 2011. Base Camaros had the V6 and had different trim levels of LS and LT which incorporated features of the RS package. The SS featured LS powered V8 engines and more power was avaiable with the factory offering of  ZL1, COPO, and Yenko. There were also the performance houses that offered special edtions such as SLP , Hennessey, and Callaway. There were also notable trim options such as thhe Nieman Marcus Convertibles and the Hot Wheels Edition. The Z/28 performance variant also appeared for a limited run in 2014-2015, Production of the fifth generation Camaro lasted through 2015, when it was replaced by the Sixth Generation Chevrolet Camaro.
