The fifth generation of Cadillac Sixty Special was introduced for the 1954 model year. The updated Sixty Special was offered as a V8 powered four door sedan, and was the last generation to feature the distintive 'P-38' tailfins. Production of the fifth generation Sixty Special continued until 1956, when it was replaced by the Sixth Generation Cadillac Sixty Special.
