The fourth generation of Cadillac Series 61 was introduced for the 1948 model year. This updated generation was offered in 1948 with a 5.7L V8 engine, but starting in 1949, was offered with a 5.4L OHV V8. Body styles available were coupe and sedan. The fourth generation Series 61 was the last built, with production ending in 1951.
