The first generation of the Cadillac Fleetwood, also known as the C-Body, was introduced for the 1986 model year. These full-size luxury cars were available in sedan or coupe body styles, with a few engine options, including three V8 options (4.1L, 4.5L, 4.9L) and one V6 diesel option (4.3L). Regardless of engine, these cars were fitted with a 4 speed automatic transmission sending drive to the front wheels. Production of the 1st Gen Fleetwood ended in 1993, when it was replaced by the 2nd Gen Cadillac Fleetwood.
