The second generation of Cadillac Escalade was introduced for the 2002 model year. Also known as the GMT 800, this updated generation of Escalade was offered as an SUV or sports utility truck, and was available with a 5.3L or 6.0L V8 engine. The 2nd generation Escalade was built until 2006 and was replaced by the Third Generation Cadillac Escalade.
