The tenth generation of Cadillac Eldorado was introduced for the 1979 model year. This updated generation of Eldorado was mostly offered as a coupe, yet for the last two years of production, was also offered as a convertible. Powered by a range of V6 and V8 engines, the 10th Gen Eldorado was in production until 1985 and was replaced by the Eleventh Generation Cadillac Eldorado.
