The Cadillac CTS-V was a high performance variant of the 2nd Gen CTS that was introduced for the 2008 model year. The CTS-V was offered with a 6.2L supercharged V8 engine, and was equipped with a 6 speed manual or 6 speed automatic transmission. The second generation of CTS-V was offered in six main variants: Sedan - Manual, Sedan - Automatic, Wagon - Manual, Wagon - Automatic, Coupe - Manual, and Coupe - Automatic. Production of the CTS-V Sedan and Wagon ended in 2014, but the Coupe was built until 2015.
