The second generation of Cadillac CTS was introduced for the 2008 model year. The CTS was a series of mid size luxury cars offered with a range of V6 and V8 engines. Unlike the other generations of CTS, the second generation featured coupe and station wagon body styles as well as the standard sedan. The most notable second generation variant was the Cadillac CTS-V, a high performance version of the CTS. Production of the second generation CTS lasted until 2014, and was replaced by the Third Generation Cadillac CTS. The second generation CTS-V was built until 2015.
