The second generation of Buick Riviera was introduced for the 1966 model year, and was offered as a two door hardtop. The 2nd generation Riviera was fitted with a range of V8 options and featured the notable Riviera Gran Sport variant as well as the Base Model. Production of the second generation Riviera ended in 1970 and was followed by the Third Generation Buick Riviera.
