The first generation of Buick Invicta was introduced for the 1959 model year. The first generation Invicta was available as a coupe, sedan, or convertible, and was offered with a 401ci (6.6L) V8 engine (a 364ci V8 was offered for exports). The first generation Invicta was in production until 1960 and was replaced by the Second Generation Buick Invicta.
