The BMW 128i was a variant of the E8x BMW 1 Series that debuted for the 2008 model year. The 128i was offered in the E82 Coupe and E88 Convertible body styles, and was powered by BMW's N52B30 engine, which was a 3.0L naturally aspirated inline six that generated 228hp and 200 lb ft of torque. This power drove the rear wheels via manual or automatic transmission options. The E8x BMW 128i was built until 2013, when the model series was discontinued.
