The first generation of Bentley Azure was introduced in 1995. The first gen Azure was based on the Bentley Continental R and was powered by a turbocharged 6.75L V8 engine. A top of the line "Mulliner" trim was added in 1999, and offered a variety of specification and personalization options. The first generation Bentley Azure was in production until 2003, and was eventually replaced by the Second Generation Bentley Azure.
