The Audi Q3 is a subcompact crossover, offered in two generations since 2011. The first, Type 8U beginning in 2011, offered both gasoline and turbodiesel engines in both front and all-wheel drive options. The RS Q3 performance crossover became available between 2013 and 2016, with a turbocharged 306hp inline five and quattro all-wheel drive. The Type 8U became available in the US beginning in 2015. The second generation, Type F3, became available in 2018, built on VW’s modular MQB platform. The RS Q3 is again available, with 394hp from the 2.5L turbocharged inline five.
