The Audi S4 (B7) was introduced for the 2005 model year. The S4 was a performance focused variant of the B7 Audi A4, and was offered as a 4.2L V8 powered sedan, convertible, or 'Avant' station wagon. The S4 (B7) featured various mechanical upgrades and subtle styling tweaks to improve the model over the standard A4. Production of the S4 (B7) lasted until 2008.
