Aston Martin introduced the Second Generation Vantage for the 2006 model year with the V8 Vantage. This family of cars was created to offer a more competitively priced sports car that would match the expectations of an Aston Martin, while opening up the brand to more buyers. The V8 Vantage was introduced with a 4.3L V8 engine (4.3), before being fitted with a 4.7L V8 (4.7) from 2009. In 2011, the V8 Vantage S was introduced, which was a sportier, more powerful variant. Other notable V8 Vantage variants included the N420, N430, GTS, GT, GT8, AMR, and AMR Pro. Production of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage lasted until 2018.
