The Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster was the open top version of the V12 Vantage S Coupe that was introduced for the 2015 model year. This series of high performance sports cars was powered by Aston Martin's AM28 engine, which was a 5.9L V12 engine that generated 565hp and 457 lb ft of torque. Initially, these rear wheel drive cars were only available with Aston's 7 speed Sportshift III automated manual transmission, but for the 2017 model year, Aston Martin introduced a dog-leg 7 Speed Manual transmission. These manual equipped S Roadsters are rarer than the Sportshift III variant. A total of 367 V12 Vantage S Roadsters were built before the end of production in 2017, with just 116 of these offered with the 7 speed manual.
