The Manual equipped Aston Martin DB9 Coupe debuted for the 2005 model year as part of the VH I DB9. These manual hardtop sports cars were much rarer than their 'Touchtronic' automatic siblings, and powered by Aston's AM11 engine, which was a naturally aspirated 5.9L V12. Initially, this engine produced 450hp, but an update for the 2009 model year saw an increase to 470hp. This power was sent to the rear wheels via a 6 speed Graziano manual transmission. Production of the Manual Aston Martin VH I DB9 Coupe lasted until 2011, with no manual options offered for the updated VH II Aston Martin DB9.
