Aston Martin introduced their new "entry-level" car, the DB7 in 1994. A two door grand tourer, the DB7 featured a sleek design and was available in either Coupe or 'Volante' convertible body styles. These early DB7 cars were powered by a 3.2L supercharged inline six engine that was paired to automatic or manual transmission options, sending drive to the rear wheels. In 1999, Aston Martin replaced the Base Model with the DB7 Vantage, which was a V12 powered version of the DB7.
