Alfa Romeo reintroduced the Giulia name in 2016 with the second generation Giulia. Known as the Type 952, this new generation was built exclusively in a compact sedan body style. These new cars were the first rear wheel drive cars since the Alfa Romeo 75. The new Giulia sedans were powered by inline four or V6 engines, which were paired to manual or automatic transmissions. A Base Model with multiple trims was offered as was the notable performance variant, the Quadrifoglio.
