Alfa Romeo introduced their fastback coupe version of the Alfetta in 1974. Designated by the use of the letters GT in its name, the Alfetta coupe was built in a number of variants including the well known GTV-6, which was the only V6 powered Alfetta variant offered. The Alfa Romeo Alfetta coupes were in production until 1987, three years later than the sedan equivalents.
